Default power windows

I am toying with the idea of getting rid of the power windows and going to manual windows in my 1980 Monte. Anybody ever done this before? What would be the best way to do it? Thanks for any help.

It's not hard but you will need to replace your door panels. Get a set of doors and just swap the guts over it will be the cheapest way to do it and the fastest as well.

That's the first time I ever heard of anyone changing from power to manual windows. Are your power windows that troublesome, or is there some other reason? Sounds like a lot of work.
