Power Stop Rotors

Power Stop Rotors
Hello all! Just curious if anyone has any feedback on Power Stop Slotted Rotors? Looking for an economical upgrade from stock rotors and pads on a 2001 Monte SS.
All feedback appreciated. Thanks!

RE: Power Stop Rotors
Don't know about Power Stop rotors, but I just did a brake job on my Intimidator SS. It has Powerslots and Hawk HPS pads, and I paid $465 4 years ago at some internet site, not sure which now. That was on my '01 SS LE, and I put 35,000 miles on them on that car. Then I bought the Intimidator SS, and swapped brakes. At 35,000, the showed no more wear than the factory pads at 5,000 miles. 2 1/2 years and 80,000 miles later, I just turned the rear rotors (they were still .050" over min' thickness), and put new HPS pads on the rear. The front rotors were at their minimum thickness, and I replaced them with 2 new Powerslot rotors from Lane Automotive at $118 list for each rotor (I walked out the door with them). I also upgraded to the F-body caliper upgrade, with HPS pads, and stainless braided lines on all 4 corners, and DOT 4 fluid. Calipers and flex lines are from ZZPerformance. I'm not sure where I bought the Hawk HPS pads, but probably from Lane automotive. (Lane's not cheap, but they're close, and they stock lots).
By the way, ALL 8 old pads still had 3/16" of pad left, wore even, and the rotors were smooth. I bought these parts last spring, and was waiting as long as possible to do this brake job, but it's the end of summer. It was time.
Bottom line: Powerslot rotors and Hawk HPS pads for $465, 2 cars, 4 years, and 115,000 miles, and still good. Plated and slotted rotors run clean, and so do the Hawk KPS pads.
REMINDER: HAND TORQUE YOUR LUG NUTS TO 100#, AND DO IT AGAIN AFTER 50 MILES!!!!!
