Power door locks, do they sleep?

Default Power door locks, do they sleep?
My recently installed remote start will not unlock the doors if they are locked by using the switch on the door instead of the remote. Theyunlock fine if locked by the remote.
They installer is telling me they "fall asleep". I think he's wrong......

Anybody ever hear of this on a 06SS. Original key fob always worked great!!!!

Thanks for any assistance.

Have you played around with your DIC settings?

Possibly set them back to default.

Why would the DIC settings stop the aftermarket remote from unlocking only when locked by using the door switch?
