7th Gen ('06-'07): Possible BCM issue?
Hello all
I am working on a 2006 monte carlo
had issue with front blinkers not working and believed it to be an issue with the multifunction switch so I replaced it.
I doubt the relevance but during this I rolled down the windows and a cable controling the passenger side broke.i opened the door up to find out why it stopped halfway down.
after replacing the switch on attempting to start the car I discovered a no start no crank issue. Key would not come out either. Dash no longer shows what gear the vehicle is in. Assuming dead battery I charged it. Still no joy so I attempted to roll up windows and come back when I was not as hot and discovered the driver window does not work. Then discovered the power locks do not work.
I have dash lights when the key is turned on as per normal.
I put the old switch back without change.
I still have power seats and a blower fan.
I am unsure where to look next. Perhaps BCM?
TLDR On this changed multifunction switch now no crank, no start, no power windows, no power locks, no Hazzard or blinkers, no shift, no removal of key without manually depressing the plunger, and I am confused
