Default pigtail for auto-dim mirror?

I've come to the conclusion that the pigtail for my auto dimming rear view is shot(thanks to my sun-shade)...it is no longer contacting the prongs without pulling the wire downward.

Anyone know were I can find just a pigtail? (would prefer new...)
If I have to go to a junk yard....what other model vehicles can I ask for that has the same mirror?

Tried looking online for it before & failed miserably

i had same exact issue with my 04 ss. went to a boneyard and got the same mirror and pigtail off a 04 impala.same everything, even the color of the wires. those mirrors are on several GM cars. punch the oem # off ur mirror and several applications will appear.make sure u leave enough wire when u splice the new one on.hope this helps u Merry Christmas!

it is common,i think the sun dries the plug.also red if u do go to a boneyard a buick rendezvous had the same mirror, like i said ,punch the #and u should find many vehicles, that was a common application.the only thing is in a junkyard, the one u find might not be any better than the one u got, so look good.i dont know where to look for a new one,if u find something let me know.
