Pesky Turn Signals
Hi All,
New to the forum but, I've read many of the postings looking for this answer. Reliving my childhood (had a 77 Monte), and just bought a used 02 Monte SS, 3.8. When I bought the car the turn signals worked, now they don't. Checked the fuses driver and passenger side and under hood, all seem fine. Went to the next step the flasher however, I can't seem to find it. Found no mention in the owner's manual and autozone said it should beon the driver side beneath the steering column. I can't seem to find it. Am I blind? Any help would be appreciated.

RE: Pesky Turn Signals
The turn signal flasher is incorporated into the hazard light switch. If you want to replace the flasheryou will need to replace the hazard switch. On 2002 Monte Carlo's,the hazard switch is the most common cause of inoperative turn signals. Sometimes just turning the hazard lights on & off several times will restore turn signal operation, but that is not the fix. You will need a new hazard switch.
