Howdy there,

I seem to be having a problem with my Monte Carlo LS, 3.4, 2002.
Where the Security light stays illuminated in the message center, no matter how long I wait (Most people talking about waiting 10 or so minutes before the car will crank), but this one just keeps the security message illuminated and it won't go away.

Need some tips, or ideas.

 

Had the same issue, eventually it got worse. Try replacing your ignition switch, very easy. If that does not help, I actually ended up cutting my security cables and soldered resistors on to trick the system. Totally bypassed the security issue

 

How did you bypass that can you send me a picture
