my security light keep coming on and service vehicle soon. when I turn my key no crank no start.
I did a method on YouTube to remove security but it keep popping up..help pls

 

Probably the ignition switch going out.

Honestly it's not that bad of a fix. Took maybe an hour to replace it. The annoying part is getting the right part, getting it set up, and doing the security relearn. The rest is just removing the dashboard.

I would try the relearn first, see if that will fix it temporarily.

 

I have it at monro and the guy said it was electrical problem I wasn't getting no power to the purple wire that goes on starter what do u think that about?

 

I would try the relearn first. I would assume it wouldn't be the wire if it's throwing the security light, but I could be wrong. Let me take a look at the wiring diagram I have real quick, see which wire he's talking about.

Try the re-learn system first. The purple wire that goes to the starter gets it's power from the starter relay, which gets it's ground that activates the relay from the BCM . And that get's the OK from the security system. If you still believe it's something different jump the starter and see if the car stay's running. Good luck

 

we try to jump it and it doesn't do anything
What do you guys know about NSS

 

If I remember correctly, the NSS is inside of the gear selector switch on the transmission . Where the cable connects to the transmission. Good luck.
