Default Overheating!

I have a 2005 Ls. I'm having a problem with my fans. They do not come on. I recently changed the sensors and relays. They started back working, but now they dont again. Can anyone tell me what the problem might be?

I was thinking of straight wiring it, where my fans stay on when the car is started.

If possible, I would recommend connecting with a car scanner that can tell you what the computer is reading for the temperature. Inspect for a short in the wiring as well (sensor and fan wiring).

Sorry, I've been out of town. As far as getting a scanner, I don't think that's a loan a tool item. You'll pretty much need to find someone you know who has access to one. Some of the parts stores sell them (but I don't know if they can get you the sensor reads).

On my '94 Grand Am, I've used an old OTC Scanner I have access to (unfortunately, I don't have access to a newer scanner for the Monte at this time).

Do the fans stay on ever after the car shuts off. Its simple and seems unrelated, but try changing your thermostat, it might fix it.
