Default OUTSIDE TEMPATURE READING

Does anybody know if the tempature guage ion the rear view mirror can be reset ? On my 2000 Monte Carlo SS the tempature outside is way hotter than what it shows on my rear view mirror.

What kind of temperature readings are you seeing? Are we talking 90 degrees outside and 75 inside or 90 Outside and 32 inside.... the later is Farenheit to Celsius.

I have a similar problem, my temp gauge is way lower than what it is outside. For example, it will read 50 degrees inside when it is 75 or 80 outside.I doubt it is a fahrenheit to celsius problem because 50 degrees C translates to 122 degrees F. Is there a way to manually reset the entire temperature gauge or play with more advanced settings somehow?
