What year is that 350?

If im not mistaken, you may be able to move that sending unit to the spot/area by the distributor. see if theres a plug near the distributor to swap it out with.... If your not happy with the current location.
Got to admit, I have never seen one located that close to the headers off the block...

I have a plug thats there and it is a 2 prong plug and i was told that it is the oil pressure choke circuit and i the 350 is a 1985
