Oh My GOSH!! HELP with water pump removal

Default Oh My GOSH!! HELP with water pump removal

We were going to change out the water pump on our 03 3.4L Monte and upon looseining the bolts for the pully two of the bolts snapped off.
Can yall please give us some advice on what to do know. They just snapped right off.

If your changing the pump just get the pulley off. broken bolts in the old pump is okay just don't break the bolts that hold the pump on off in the timing cover.
Just buy new bolts from napa or whatever and finish it up.

Ok, I see what you were saying that the pulley could still come off of the water pump if the other two bolts were took off.
We accomplished that and thats when I realized why the bolts broke in the first place....I was turning the pulley bolts the wrong direction and tightening them so they snapped.
Got the water pump off and now we are two water pump pulley bolts short.
Cant find a similar bolt with the washer made into it anywhere and the one I did find at Ace hardware was to long.
Is this a bolt I will have to get from the dealer?
