No turn signals or high beams

No turn signals or high beams
I think I know what's wrong, but looking for some advice as well. Working at getting my son's '02 Monte running good for him. New driver and first car. Late last year we started having issues with the left turn signal not wanting to come one, then it starts working fine. I just assumed it was from it sitting over time. We started it every month just to keep things in good shape.
Now the right turn signal is not working as well as the left on. Was thinking maybe the flasher relay, but not 100% sure. Went to switch it to it's high beams and they won't "click" on. You can see them change, but they won't stay like they should. I'm leaning now more to the actual lever failing. Is that possible? I've messed with them before on his mom's car before, so I'm good with switching them out. Wish I would have tried messing with them before I went to the JY last week and I would have picked one up there.
Any advice or guidance would be great....thank you

Sadly I don't think it is a Relay or Fuse issue I think your problem is in the Multi Switch in your car. This Switch is a Weak link in both the MC and the Impala's. I have changed a few in my years of owning these cars. Not any of mine but a few for some of my Friends with these cars.
One seeing you are saying that your not able to get the MULTI switch to CLICK to keep the Highbeams on. this is a Classic tail Tell that the Switch is going to go out all together. One of the things that I have found others have done is after a couple of months holding the Highs on, That one time they pull really hard and it switches over and now the car is stuck with the Highs on full time.
Right now your Multi Switch is working in the Pull to Pass spot of the Switch. Before long it will fail to even work there..
For my MC that is a 02 SS and should share a part with the other 02 MC as well has the Multi Switch starting at just under 90 to 98 and only 2 parts are open for sale at Rockauto. You may want to look at a Wrecking yard if you have one were you can pull your own parts and test and see if they have one that you can pull. I believe they are around here under 20 for one. Plus it will give you an idea of what you need to do to switch them out without harm to your own car. If it was me I would just buy a new one from Rockauto so I know for sure it is working.
About the Turn Signals. I think it is the same issue. However if you want to look at this. You can test by turning on your hazards. If they don't blink then yes bad switch or bad power or ground going to the switch. reason is because the System is ran over a Logic AKA Electrical system not like the old way of doing signals. Rare would it fail. On this system. I would test for power at the switch. There is 2 powers for this switch, One is for turns it is Pink wire from the Left box and then there is a Hazard Orange wire from the Right box. However because you said that it would work and then wouldn't work to me sounds like it is going to be issue with your Multi Switch.
ON the Switch. There is a Black wire on Pin A then the Pin B is Orange and Pin C is the Pink. H is the Purple from your Multi Switch, F yellow and G Tan are the Output to the bulbs. The ones that go off to the fronts are the ones that control your Cluster lights to show you what one you have on. Funny thing is they cars are rather smart on the Light system it is kind of Stupid at times because it makes it harder to trouble shoot. Only 1 wire (The purple to tell the Blinkers to work) anyway as long as it works (when they work that is) that is all that matters.
It would be easier to tell where the problem is if your Rear ones didn't work but your front ones did lol. That happens from time to time.

Mine do that when they are cold. You can leave it until it warms up or you can manually turn signal and hope the light works, I think it does. Anway once it warms up it should quit doing that. Otherwise I'd tell you ingnition switch is going. On the brights, it takes me 2 or 3 tries because it doesn't just click into place, it's like just in case you want to see for a little bit, but if you flip it three times it'll usually say on the third and the only time you'll have to be a little tough with it is trning them back off....I try to or three times and then I use a little more force if I have to because my brights are in someone's fsce. It'll click off. I hate doing that, but I can't blind people.
I was very wrong, those slow blinkers have nothing to do with the car warming up. It must be a coincidence in my case, because in searching for help after having brokent my hazard button, I've learned the blinkers and the hazards are the same bezel, and the blinkers randomly failing is an indicator that the bezel's on its way out. I just broke the connector for the little triangular button on mine before experiencing any kind random failure of my hazards. Having read the other replies I found one about wires themselves and the possibility of a multi-switch failing in regard to your brights. I have no clue why I can get my brights on with exactly three gentle pulls on the lever and no clicking sound. As for turning them off, apparently they are supposed to make a click sound. Now I can worry obsessively about whether or not my multi-switch is failing because I can turn my brights on with exactly three pulls and no click sound.
