no dash lights or running lights

Default no dash lights or running lights

hi i have a 2003 monte carlo ss 3800 about a week ago my dash lights went out along with door lights but the dome light and the floor lights work. a buddy of mine was following me one day at night and come to find out i dont have running lights/parking lights either so i checked all the fuses on both sides of the car with a multi meeter everything checked out ok i cant figure this problem out if anyone could give me some info that would be great oh yeah turn signals and brake lights work

hmm possible coincidence? check to c if u have voltage to the fuses for the lights that are out...90% of the time an electrical problem in a circuit is the load so visually inspect the bulbs in the running lights to make sure they are not burnt out...i dont ahve time now but i will look on the wiring diagram and c if they intertwine anywhere

it is one of two things. mine did this same thing.
it is either the multi switch for your high beams or the actuall light switch.

After mine did the dash lights i changed them out to L.E.D. and never had another issue with those.

If the Fuses are all good ... you got +12V showing ... it could be a problem with the infamous "Bodywork Control Module".
