nope i drove her for a bit longer. 20 minutes and still no cold air.

all the other vents seem to work fine. always was just weak center console vents that either didn't blow on acceleration, or slow to start blowing after car was started.

I heard that auto zone does a free coolant pressure check. this true?

I have no clue about Autozone, but your AC probably needs a recharge.

Hello, New to forums and finding tons of useful info. Appreciate it from all sharing. I just bought my son a 98 Monte Carlo and were having this issue as well when he accelerates. I have checked the vac lines and all seem to be fine with the exception of 1. It is the one going down below the battery, and im assuming it should connect to a vac reservoir pod? This vac line appears fine other then they plugged the end with a screw... the problem is theres no reservoir pod behind the headlight or under the fender well. I am wondering if someone with similar model could post a pic of where it is and how it is mounted. Would be of great help. Thanks in advance.

Question The vacuum line you are touching goes to vac canister below battery.

I just got my z34 like 2 weeks ago. love the car (named her Roxy)
But i have no AC, and living in Louisiana its kinda killing me. Also yesterday i noticed that when i accelerate hard the center face fans don't blow very hard.
I have read that this is usually caused by a damaged vacuum line, or a damaged check valve. Problem is that I don't know where to even find this vacuum line to check if its ok. I have looked all around the throttle body and all those lines and hoses are far too large. Could someone link my a vacuum line diagram?
While looking for that line i found that the "acsry" line is not connected to anything and is just chillin between fender and the battery. I would think this line should be connected to something, but I have very little car knowledge.
When the engine is on and i cover the end of the line i can feel a strong suction and the engine tone slightly changes.
Any help would be great. I can provide pictures if needed
You may need to move the control box to get to it, or you can fish it down below that and it goes to a black plastic orb, but the connections are on the top of it. My car is full of brown widow spiders so I do not reach in anywhere I have not exterminated first. ;-)
