I put these same rotars on my '03 SS... I used the Adaptive One pads from Napa though. Actually, I put this combo on the rear as well. I am very pleased so far!

Only thing I wish I would have done was paint the visible portion or each rotar before installing with high temp paint. Here in Michigan, they have turned rust color quickly. I may pull all of them back off and do this.

from me!

I used NAPA's premium rotors. They warped at all 4 corners within a few months. They also squeak terribly when they get warm. I went back to Napa and they pretty much told me to screw off. I havent been back to NAPA since.

Wow that really sucks! First set I had a few years back from Napa warped rather quickly to be honest. I took them back in and got them warrantied. They asked me if I used brake part cleaner on the rotars before I installed them, and I said "No why would I do that on a brand new part." Fortunately they already told me they would replace them, because they specifically say to clean them with brake part cleaner prior to install. Apparently they put a sealant on them at the manufacturer to prevent them from rusting. If you don't get that off, I would assume that burns itself off and causes problems.

Since then, I have had them on 3 different cars... with as many as 40,000 miles or so. I have also put them onto 2 of my friends vehicles as well. They have been totally fine! They don't pulsate, so no warp at all, and do not squeak. The squeak you got is probably from the pads that you put on, not from the rotar itself. This was part of the reason I chose the Adaptive One pads.

Just my opinion on all of this of course. I am in no was associated with Napa, I just have not had any issues with these.

We have Napa Premium rotors on my Mom's 2000 Bonneville, with Napa Ceramic pads. No complaints, they works well, smooth and are not warped.

I just bit the bullet for my front rotors AGAIN (they keep warping) So I paid $320+ for Powerslot Cryo treated front rotors and Hawk HPS pads. Fingers are crossed this CRYO process will fix my rotor warping problem.
