I have recently bought my first monte carlo and i fell in love with it, its an LS but it came with an SS bumper etc. I change over the headlights and i didnt have the SS harness and now my turn signals are screwed up. When i turn the right turn signal on my left turn signal steadly shines bright and if i hit the brakes without the lights on the guages light up and the buzzer goes off and marker light go on. I really dont know what to do ive checked all my grounds. If someone could help by posting a wiring diagram of an SS headlight layout or tell me what im doing wring that would be awesome cuz i need this car done like yesterday haha thanks so much

I don't know much about this generation Monte (especially the electrical system). You mentioned you changed the LS lights to the SS and you did not have an SS wiring harness?? What all did you change/do? If this all worked before swapping these lights and now you're having these unusual situations, something got crossed somewhere....

All i did was put the SS bumper and headlights on it. I spliced the wires to what i thought they should be but i cant find an SS headlight wiring diagram anywhere so like you said something got crossed cuz when it was an LS front everything worked perfect.

Out of curiosity, if you unplug the headlights, do things go back to normal?
I wish I had some shop book data I could send you to help.![Frown](https://montecarloforum.com/forum/images/smilies/frown.gif)
I hope someone with more knowledge on this generation chimes in.
