I guess it went well.

I dropped off my car at 12:45, was in my rental(loaner) by 1:30, got a call at 2:15 from the dealer saying the tranny checked out fine but needed a tranny flush/fill/filter replacement. They also checked my cooling system, said everything was fine also, but they did clean out my reservoir and top off the fluid. I returned the rental at 2:45, was in my car by 3pm. The cool part was that they put me in a 06 Tahoe, fully loaded! Conveniently so, I had to go do a home visits for a patient of mine so I did put a handful of miles on it. Nice rig indeed, the BOSE system put the system in the monte to shame, but I'd hate to have to fill up the tank on that thing.

Next step, get tranny shift kit(comes with filter) and get the tranny flushed and filled with Royal Purple synthetic fluid, install the shift kit and see if that does the trick. I'll keep ya posted

I know, I know, I was supposed to get the tranny service 2.9k mi ago. I'm trying to find a local place that does a pump inlet tranny flush so I can get that done. I'd like to get it done before I got on my road trip on the 21st. I'm driving down to the San Francisco 49ers headquarters/training facility in Santa Clara for my son's football tournament, I'll be loggin' close to 2k miles in 3 days[sm=insomnia.gif]

 

I'll send ya a Dallas Cowboy hat to wear there.
