Common cause for blower motor issues are usually the blower motor resistor. But could be other issues. May want to dig up a wiring diagram and check that you get power where you are supposed to get power.
It's one of three things. Have a muliltimeter ser at 12v. Hook it up to the wires that lead to the register to the fans. If you see power fluctuation the hvack fan controller works then hook back up the register and do it again. If you see power fluctuate when you adjust the fan speed the resistance is ok then you know it's the fan. The register and the fan is a 5.4 or 6.5 mm bolt trying to find that socket is like finding platinum on the ground
