2006 Monte SS -2 times engine would not start only "clicking" like dead battery, recharged & checked with meter,12.6 volts & motor started !....used 1 time , now same click , key stuck in ign. switch and shifter won't release ! 12.6 v from battery , cleaned terminals , no difference ? Is this a shifter console problem??

 

Sounds like a bad battery actually..
