Default Interior lights won't turn off

Just recently, my 2006 Monte SS has had an issue with the interior lights staying on, or when I take the keys out of the ignition, my radio and accessories that are supposed to stay on until the door is opened shut off immediately. Is there some kind of switch damaged inside my car door?

Sounds to me like your ignition switch is beginning to glitch out on you.

Check your door latch.
I spray lithium grease(once) on latch and the hinges. My lights, radio everything stay on.
Open and close the door half a dozen time.
The fix is WD 40 water resistant spray, spray it good, open and close, open and close, open and close.
An Never use Lithium Grease on the latch, No problem with lights about 2 years.

Hope this helps
