My interior lights don't go out even when the car is shut off and the key is out. The body ground for the negative was bad so I replaced it but it still didn't fix the problem. Does anyone have any advise? Also its an 02 pacecar edition monte carlo

 

There is a couple of things. One is the light turned on by the switch? Turn it one way click on turn another way and off and dimmer, Or could be that switch is bad. Also could be there is an issue with one of the door switches in the door. When door closes that switch makes contact and turns off lights. If it is broken then light may stay on. Another issue that it could be is that there is a Broken wire that is shorting out and leaves the light on.

You could try and take the battery connector off and let the computers reset. After about 10min connect it back and see if it still has same problem.
