Default intake hose pcv line 97 monte

i opened the hood on my gf's 97 monte and noticed the intake had been taped with electrical tape over a hole after the maf. i taled to a mech at the dealership over the phone and he said that a pipe went from the intake to the rear valve cover. The question i have is what is this pipes name. i'm assuming it's some part of the pcv system but i cant find this part anywhere. any help would greatly be appreciated.

if you call a dealer it is a pcv hose thats what its called and they should be able to get it no problem if not try a scrap yard i'm sure your car is a 3.4 litre there are lots of cars that share the same tube.

if your car isn't a DOHC i'm 100% positive i have a spare used one in my gm parts collection. if you don't find one if you pay the shipping i could ship it to you. if it is a DOHC it might still be the same part i don't know for sure.

sorry i figured it was the 3.4 i know for sure i have the 3.1 litre pcv tube its still on a 97 malibu sitting out back behind my shop. let me know if you find it at a dealer they should be able to print a exploded view so you can show them what you need.
