Default sisters 3100 pcv hose not sitting tightly

Ok, so after doing my PCV valve, I decided to change hers as well. I went to autozone, their website said I needed part 1125, which is the same as my monte carlo... so I got it, did the change, but the hose that connects to the top of the pcv valve doest sit tightly, it actually will just lift off with no effort... anyone know if I have the wrong valve, or need a new hose? Not sure that could be causing it...

I would go back to yoour local Autozone and look your sister's car make, model, etc. in the parts book that will list the PCV valve model # to double check that the correct one was picked. If it was, then I would say the hose would need to be replaced. The end of it may streched out some diameterwise from it being wiggled too much to remove it from the PCV valve.

I managed to fix it, the hose was bent to the side, I just straightened it out and it sits flush now, I believe the rubber book it worn so that will eventially need replacing but it isnt a priority right now. There is a bit of a cylander tap issue im looking into.
