I have been reading a lot through the forums and have been getting a lot of input through friends, but I just want to make sure, so here is my little nightmare.

I have an 02 Monte Carlo SS, when ever I get in the car the key does not want to turn over, so I fiddle with it back and forth while turning the steering wheel and sometimes without, then it turns. Sometimes it takes up to a half-hour sometimes a few seconds. Trust me, it gets a little annoying in the winter when I have to sit there in the cold.

Any advice will be appreciated and hopefully I wont have to send the car to the dealership where tend to take your money with a smile.
