Default HVAC Implications!!!

Hello everyone, last week I acquired a 2003 Monte Carlo SS with 176k miles. The car runs and drives excellent. 2 Days ago, I drove the car in the morning and the AC worked fine. About an hour later, I got into the car to go for a drive and the AC was very warm. I turned off the AC to see if it was the same temp as the fan, and it was. Later that day, the fan speed would only work on 5. (setting 4 hasn't worked since the day I bought it). I had now lost settings 1-3. The AC compressor clutch does engage when I turn on the AC. Just replaced the blower motor resistor and I now have settings 1-3 back (4 still won't work) but the AC is still not functioning (still same temp as fan). The heat works. (kinda) it works on defrost and footwell, but when turned to upper vents, no air comes out (I can hear the air and the car gets warm inside, just no direct air). Im not entirely sure where to go from here. Are these issues related? Is the compressor done for? I also noticed that the fans do not turn on when I turn on the AC (they both kick on when the car is running for a while though, and turn back off once the car has cooled down). I live in PHX AZ, so even in December I use the AC lol. Any help would be much appreciated!!!
