Hood problems

Default Hood problems

Has anyone with a 2006 or 2007 ss monte carlo had any problems with a raise in their hood. Mine wont fit flush. I'm considering ordering a new one but wanted to c if there were any alternatives.

U try adjusting the bump stops any?

Were the fenders, or anything hit at all?

Where is the alignment issue? Sometimes the bumper sags and makes the front of the hood look uneven.

No I havent are those the black rubber pieces that the hood lies on

I removed my hood when I installed the turbo. Six months later I realized that the hood looked "off". I adjusted it again and now it looks right again.

There are bolts that attach to the hood near the hinges. Loosen those until you are able to make slight adjustments to the hood. On mine, I had to push the hood towards the windshield and then re-tighten the bolts. The hood was perfect from that point on.
