It would be nice to come up with a different scoop design. If I had the time I would find a hood in a JY and play around with some scoop concepts.

I would almost like to see some type of shaker looking scoop instead of the tear drop design.

yeah i agree war path

but i have thought for along time that when i get back to the states i will see about getting one out of a bone yard and try cutting it and making my own scoop but more like the oder ones or wha tis like on the Dodge SRT's
they are more or less a lsit in the frnt of the hood and a small vent that shoots the air tot eh filter.
they are non func. but that could be changed eaily

as far as a pint price for one hood should not be to awful bad. But there is always the option of talking to folks in a club ther eis always someoen that dose body work, Also you can talk to some of the guys int eh body shops and see if any of them moon light .

but hnestly i would not think more then the prce of the hood to get it painted moren then likely if they have a color car that is the same as yours the will throw it in the booth at the same time and shoot it.

I am hoping aftr 06 with the new body style comming out they might lower the price down some ut i still shiver at teh cost to get it here. but if we dont extent we will be back state side shrtly afte that. anyway. So i will see what i can find after that
