Default high pitched squeal passenger side

Hi all. I recently purchased an 05 montecarlo SS with 140,000 kms on the clock. Intermittently, i get a high pitched squeal from the passenger side. I originally thought it was the fan motor but the noise continued after I turned it off. Any ideas? still sounds like a rotating shaft and dry bearings to me but I am at a loss.

Need a bit more detail on this - does it also happen when the car is stopped (that would eliminate the wheel bearing / brakes / axle)? What general area is it coming from - passenger compartment / engine bay / trunk? Does it get louder when you move your head towards any specific area? Does it continue after the engine is turned off? Does it continue when the HVAC fan is turned off, but engine is still on?

seems to intermittently squeel when accelerating at 60 mph for example. may squeel for a few seconds and quit. very loud when it squeels.

originally thought it was the heater motor fan but I increased and decreased the blower fan speeds and it didnt make a difference. I struggle that it could be a wheel bearing due to its high pitch and it is intermittent.

I am not sure if there is another blower to this hvac that I am missing?

If I take the car for a short drive, it doesnt happen , but on longer drives it is more frequent.

the car did get water down the Hvac system after a poorly installed windsheild allowed water into the heater motor through the cabin filter. this is repaired now, and I thought the heater motor bearings were damaged when this happened, but now I dont think so.

any other thoughts?

any thoughts on the supercharger bearings?

The coupler is what goes bad on the SC, usually. It would sound like rocks being rattled around.

Have you checked the belts on the engine? I would get a squeal every once in a while when I had an old, loose belt.
