help with wheel cross reference
Hey guys,
heres my question. I have a set of 5 spoke wheels off a 2000 trans am. there 16's and really nice looking. I was just curious if anyone has used a set of f-body wheels on there cars because they dont seem to fit? I tohught that the f-body rotors and the monte rotors were the same, so shouldnt the offset of the wheels be the same to? any advice would be greatly appriciated! Thanks

RE: help with wheel cross reference
No, they are not the same. The bolt pattern on the F-Bodies is 5/120.65(mm) or 5/4.75(in). The Monte Carlo bolt pattern is 5/115(mm). More than 5 mm smaller than the F-Body.
You can always a use a wheel adapter/bolt pattern changer on top of the rotors to fit the wheels. Usually they cost about $60 - $70 per pair.
