Exclamation Help! Loose Hubs?

Hey folks lets see if you all can help me here, I have been sporadically getting the "service traction" "Trac off" and "ABS" warning lights. I got it up on jacks today and there is play in both front wheels/hubs, I grabbed the tire at the top and bottom and wiggled it and it was loose. I would say that the top of the tire would work back and forth about 3/32 of an inch, is there a certain amount that it CAN move that is with in safe standards or do I need to change my hubs? could this be the cause of my problems of the "service traction/trac off/ ABS" light coming on sporadically?

I would get new hubs and check your tie rods. Things will only get worse and dangerous.

Yes, speed sensor is in hubs and causes Service Traction System message to appear. Hubs like to go out on these cars. Tie rods good idea as well. I did all of this last year. Also get your lower control arm bushings inspected. After I replaced all of the parts I still have lingering vibration issues. Was told by firestone that this causes suspension not to work as well either. Good luck!
