Default Hearing a noise, need help...

When I'm driving, I hear a winding noise. Ive been hearing it more and more, and louder and louder now. I hear it going straight, turning is really the most noticeable, and I hear it when I'm in park and rev the engine. Anyone have any ideas? I'm still under warranty, so I want to get it fixed as soon as possible. Maybe this will also motivate me to go get that ignition cylinder problem fixed too

I just got my 06 Monte LT back from the dealer last week for the EXACT same problem...Dealer installed a NEW POWER STEERING PUMP, covered under my extended GMPP warrenty...Get it to the dealer asap for the noise, and make sure that it is making the noise when you take it in. I kept my car running when I brought it in, and made my service tech listen to it before turning it off....My car usually only made the noise when the car was fully warmed up, but it got worse as months went by....Let me know if it is in fact the power steering pump, but I would almost bet it is...
