Buff 'em out.
That's all you have to do!

It's not just aftermarket. The factory headlights on my 99 Grand Am only lasted about 5 years before they started to get that yellow fog and also the really fine spider web cracks along the top edge. I tried buffing them, but the cracks caused little pieces of the plastic to start chipping off.

I'm hoping the 04 Monte headlights don't do the same. If they do, I plan on getting a set of the black headlights anyway.

Those are clear for 00-05. Sylvania sells bulbs for your side markers that are blue but glow amber....look into those, I'm getting them for my 99 when I switch to clear headlights.

+1 on the buffing. You can sand 400 grit, 800, 1000, 1200, and then 1500. Do this all while wet, then get some rubbing compound and work in, then follow that with plastx by meguirars, then finish with wax of your choice. Will definitely look amazing when done.

http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/sho...376&page=2 there is a 98 Mark VIII with minor headlight fogging, the steps before are what I did to my 93 that was in a lot crappier condition. Toward the bottom of the page you'll see.
