I would check Ebay and the local scrapyards as well. Sometimes you can get lucky but that is a pretty new car so pickings will be slim.

 

ok so im new 2this forum...ijust bought an 01 blk ss lastweek...evrything is perfect until lastweek i noticed the lights on my instrument panel go in and out at times...now there completely out...the thing i dont understand is when its daytime there on...at night there out...what is goin on with it....itsfunny how i just so happend seen on here my problem as soon as i logged in 4tha 1st time which is cool...bc now i can can get suggestions and help b4 i drag in 2 tha dealership and have 2pay an arm and a leg...can any1 helpme on wat 2do

 

First thing I would check
Make sure the dimmer switch for the dash lights are turned up all the way.
If so then I would be welling to guess it might be the switch

 

ok im having a similar problem but, what i noticed on my car is that when the auto headlights kick in the cluster lights go off leaving only the prnd12 and mileage but it is very dim, another thing is the lights around the climate control are also off. it came back on twice and i checked the dimmer it worked fine but after i shut the car off and restarted it the problem came back, you guys think in my case its the light switch as well?
