gas petal sticks

Time to take it off and clean that sucker. No that's probably not the cause for your bad gas mileage. You need to start with everything for gas mileage. Plugs, Wires, Filters, Etc.

I noticed when mine was sticking in the AM (you have to push really hard real fast and then it's fine) It looked like this when I replaced it for an HVTB




Well I took off the throttle body n it looked worse than yours in the picture now its all shiny...but check this out there was coolent in the upper intake so I changed the gasket..hopefully that solves my mpg problem

2 things does coolant in there actually have an effect on mpg, and how do one go about cleaning they throttle because i have a screen on mines and i kinda dont wanna take of the throttle

You are looking at the backside in those pictures, that's the side that gets dirty. They really do need to be removed to be cleaned properly.

Noooooo and I guess throttle body cleaner and a wire brush will do?

Yep. That's how you do it. I also recommend getting a new TB gasket. They say they are reusable, but mine whistled until I replaced the gasket.
