I believe someone in the Bonneville world made the Series 3 rails work on a Series 2. Like Bumpin' mentioned, it takes some messing around and the effort is probably not worth it.

I got a fairly clean (looked like new) donor fuel rail for a L36, spent a LOT of time with a dremel to ensure it was REALLY clean and I had it powder coats black and the injector retaining clips powder coated red. Looks really nice (on top of a nice aluminum L26 UIM).
