I do not have a manual or any schematics for our cars.

Which manuals are the best one's out there? The last car manual I owned was a chilton for a 72 Galaxy 500... What a pile o crap that was.

k sorry thought you had one, as far as the best out there for our cars well those would be the factory set they are about 300.00 Us for you to get and you get them threw the dealer in your area or you can go to chevyonline and they have a link on thier site someplace for you to order them that way to.

I asked my fathe rin law to send me a set so if they ever show up or if i ever actully get them i will let ya know.

I have a hyane3s here now and i feel about the same as you did on your last one. I hate haynes manulas anyway but that is what happens when you have to ask your mom for help LOL
it has ever year from 95-03 in it just not a good book to genreal for those years if you ask me

Back Off Third Brake Light Flasher Module

A "Must Have" Safety Device

Visually Alerts Drivers Behind You By Flashing The 3rd Brake Light 3 Times

Simple To Install

Help prevent rear end collisions by installation the Third Brake Light Flasher Module. The module wires into your existing third brake light with two wires in just seconds, then when you apply the brakes it causes your brake light to emit a visual alerting signal of three short light flashes, followed by one long light flash (3.5 seconds). The signal automatically repeats itself as long as the brakes are applied. The repeating pattern is not random, but rather has been selected because of its ability to keep alert the drivers behind you. The module itself is about the outside dimension of a business card. An optional Back Off unit with three-wire hookup is also available which flashes the third light when you put your Corvette in reverse to alert drivers behind you. Instruction included.

i personally wont pay that for a kit with a timmer circut in to it. they are to easy to make for under 12.00 bucks or so.

but i do like this item.

I have been trying to find one of these small things from a chevy but they dont make them seperate in our cars they are a part of the damed switch. SOOOOOOO thsi would be a really nice upgrade for our cars and a simpel mod to.

But you would have to change your door switches out to manual if you wanted them to work the same for both or by one of each of thiers there and over ride the factory version so that it will go both up and down in the car on both drivers and pax sideds

Good find AwsomeSS `Amy, Thanks for sharing that site & information.

I didn't think I would be interested in a flashing 3rd Brake light, until I followed a Corvette that had them while driving in thick smoke & fog. I've also noticed them on Motorcyles & they got my attention when they applied their brakes. It's a helpless feeling when you come to a panic stop on the interstate or backroads and your progress is blocked by other traffic & you look into your rear view mirror & see headlights fastly aiming at your rear-end

The Florida Highway Patrol stated that over 50% of the driver's on the road are driving under the influence on their midnight shift. How many people do you know that drive under the influence of something ? Maybe Florida is just a Party State ? I think I will add a flashing 3rd brake light to my SpaceRider I want the dopers to be alerted when I am stopping
