Hey I need help on taking apart the front bumper and hood off my car and replace it with new parts. I lost my mom 3 years ago and my dad gave me her car she loved this car. So thanks to some idiot speeding on icy roads causing several other cars to slide into one another mine was damaged. No mechanical damage thank god but now the hood and bumper need replaced. I only had liability insurance and that idiots insurance wont cover anything due to it be an indirect result or some crap. Took it to get an estimate one guy was gonna charge $2500 another said $1200. I'm a single mom with no financial help so what am I to do. I know my way around a car but never had to do something like this. Ive tried finding diagrams/ instructions for my car and nothing. If anyone can help me please that would be great.

 

You can file a suit in small claims court against the guy and his insurance should have to cough up something.
Contact your county attorney they should be free for advice about it. or maybe you can all file a suit against the idiot.
Okay I have the ifo you need from the service manual I will download the pic and post them here.

If you can find a salvage yard nearby a hood and front bumper from a Monte Carlo or a lumina from 95 to 2000 maybe 2001. Not sure when they quit making them.
