For the past few months I’ve been hearing a rattling come & go from my exhaust. Finally took it to the muffler shop the other day expecting it to be broken hangers near the resonator. Come to find out it’s the heatshield between the exhaust and the gas tank. 1 of the retainers is gone, muffler shop said it’s a dealer only part and probably not available or a body shop might have it. I took it to my mechanic, hoping they can track it down. By any chance does anyone know the part number of those retainers that hold it up? It looks like an aluminum heatshield between the gas tank and the exhaust near the back of the car. Thank you for any help!

 

I'd go to an actual dealer's parts counter. They're the ones thatll have all of the diagrams and can positively confirm or deny if the part is discontinued, and can order it for you if its not.

Poking around some diagrams, I came up with the item below which is still available (for a few bucks each). But a dealer is definitely going to be more accurate than I am.
