I have an 01 SS and my 3800 started knocking. It sounds like a rod knock. I an going to so the motor. I wad curious if anyone knew if the supercharged 3800 ot of the grand prix will work in my car. What all would be needed for that swap if anything?

 

Yes, the L67 Supercharged engine from a Grand Prix will work. I don't know the parts list required for the swap, but it is a very common one. I have no doubt there are countless threads here on the topic you can find.
