Gotta say it again, VERY NICE!!! Did you do that yourself?? The turbo I mean. And I think that turbo more than makes up for the slight mess of wires. Just my opinion though.. *pretty* lookin to me><

Rick, it's the cartuning turbo that a lot of people hate on. I don't know why a lot of forums don't like the brand. They were EXCELLENT to me. I probably called 30-40 times just to make sure that I was putting it together right. I can't afford to blow that kind of money and damage my car. I got it in February because that was when I got my income tax return. My wife gave me permission the previous July. Altogether, I spent about $6,000. The Monte uses the FE4 suspension and the GXP that the kit was designed for had the FE2. So... The down pipe interfered with the sway bar. (or vice versa) I haven't been able to afford a dyno day yet. I am only an E-4 in the Army with 4 children. Plus, with the accident I got into on the day that I purchased the kit... I have to get my baby looking right before I can spend the $100 for the bragging rights.

Dale, I know you weren't hating. Different strokes for different folks. I enjoy ALL kinds of cars, not just FWD. In fact, if I would have had the money to buy a different car, I probably would have. When I saw the turbo kit for sale, I had already had the car for a year and a half. It wouldn't make sense for me to spend more money on a car that wouldn't perform as well as the one I have. I have a total of $26,000 in my car including the turbo. My car has beaten a 2011 Camaro SS on I-44 from 55-140. I don't know how much the new Camaro costs, but I am sure it is more than my set-up. On the other hand, from a stand-still, a Mustang GT or any of the new Camaros will SMOKE me. There is nothing like RWD or AWD from a stop. That is a MAJOR weakness on my car and I am okay with that.

SHOOT! I just typed a LONG reply to everyone and it just disappeared! OK... Rick, cartuning... $6000 total... had to get FE2 suspension... no dyno... poor Junior Enlisted with 4 kids... had accident in Jan... bought new Impala bumper instead last weekend...
Dale, FWD was the car I had when I found the kit... i know you weren't hating... wouldn't have been my first choice for performance... RWD=Better launch... get smoked from a stop... kill from 55-140.
That should have summed up the previous (LOST) reply.

Interesting to hear. Too much $$ for me though.
