Electrical Problem/Airbag Light
What's up guys, real quick question to the electronic gurus on here. Why is my airbag light on? I have a strong feeling it is due to something electrical (non airbag problem). I have checked and done every test to the battery/alternator. I have even cleaned the negative terminals to the ground. Everything checks out GREAT. The headlights and dash lights still are dimming/flickering at idle. I have searched and searched for the past two months until I decided to make an account here. Thanks y'all.

Best thing to start with, get a scan tool that can read the Air Bag computer OR have a shop read it. This will tell you what air bag/SRS code is causing the light to be on.
It can range from a severed wire, bad sensor, damaged clock spring, it's near impossible to pin point just because the light is on.

if u have the airbag in the driver or passenger seat side look under those seats and make sure that the connections aren't compromised, in mines the wires have been cut so i just twist them together...it goes on and off because my girl re adjust the seat sometimes
