Default electrical problem

the other day while driving my 01 ss home, the battery light came on and the volt gage dropped to zero. then the security light came on. I drove it straight home not knowing if something in the charging system went bad. when I got home I put a volt meter on the alternater, and it showed around 14 volts and the battery was taking a charge. So i figured the charge system was working. I then noticed that I could not turn my radio on. the top of the radio would read security locked out. I then tried to hold the disp button in on the radio to get into the vehiclemaint settings. that would also come up security locked out.
has anyone else had a problem like this.

Sounds like a bad BCM or possibly lost connection to the BCM

Well, I just got back from my buddys place. The middle connector on the BCM has a couple loose pins. Gonna see about getting new pins and repinning it. When you wiggle the wires with the loose pins, everything goes crazy. When you put them in the right spot, everything is all good.... I'll let you know if it works....
