Default Dyno?

Hey guys, has anyone here got there Monte Dyno'd? My buddy just got his civic dyno'd at straightline performance in new lenox. I was thinking about going up there to see what I got, and possibly get a tune. I currently have FWI at the moment. Think I should wait till i get my exhaust done?

I've had my Monte dynoed 3 times and all were after I had done significant modifications to it. My first time, I had a best dyno of 209.9whp. The second time I had a best dyno of 222whp, and then my last time I dynoed was in March and I dynoed 325whp (and that was with complications).

I recommend doing it right away and then you'll have a good base to work with. Just make sure that if you get your Monte dynoed somewhere, keep going to that same place. Every dyno is different.

So your boosted now? I'm assuming thats how you got to 325. Anyways, so I can get it dyno'd and have it still tuned even though I only have a FWI right? Then when I keep adding stuff to it, i can always go back and get it done right?

Yeah, you can keep coming back over and over to the dyno. My advice would be wait until you do a few more things before you get tuned. If it's just the best situation though for you to be tuned right away, then that's okay too but you will see better gains from a tune if you do more modifications first.

A stock 3800 usually dynos around 150whp. I really really wish I could have dynoed my Monte stock. It would be nice to see how much I improved from there, but I did run my Monte in the 1/4 mile stock, so that helps.

And yes, I'm boosted now. I'm sporting a Paxton Novi 1000 now which is very very fun

Good luck with your Monte. It's a lot of fun to modify these cars.

Haha, you probably never tried to modify at 3400 monte lol what a pain man. Can't find **** for them and even if you do, its expensive. I've been looking all over and everywhere for a supercharger for a 3400. I can't find anything except the crappy RSM.
