I have a Monte Carlo 2002 model. And the power window on my drivers side doesn't roll up anymore unless I punch the window switch. It rolls down just fine, but has a problem rolling up. The last time I tried to roll it up it wouldn't do it at all. I had to remove the entire door panel and find the door switch. I tapped the switch real heard with a hammer. And now it's working(barely). But now i'm afraid that it will screw up again. And I found a replacement switch at autozone, but I don't want to replace it until I'm %100 sure that it's the switch.

How can I check to see if it's the switch or if it's a bigger problem?
