Hey MCF,

I have a small problem. My dome light, visor lights, and reading lamps and autodim on rearview mirror are not working but my info center is. I have checked every fuse in the car (i think) and called every dealership in VA and no one seems to know what it is or they want me to bring it in. I am open to all suggestion and if someone knows where the fuse for these things are or the cause of the malfunction please let me know. Its a 2000 Monte Carlo LS 3.4.

 

Is it a constant or an occasional problem?
I'd check all the fuse boxes [maybe you missed a box].
And if you bought yours used check the carfax again.
Sometimes after a car is fixed following an accident the rewiring job can be pretty shoddy. I've seen it before...
