how do u get the dome light cover off.

 

Assuming by your name you have an 2004 Monte which should be the same as my old 2003. If I remember correctly you have to work at it, just moving it around, it should be on pretty tight, but move pretty easily if you try sliding it back and forth, and at some point it'll make a little click and just fall off. It scared me when it first came off but it was simple to reinstall. When you're pulling it down make sure the whole headliner doesn't pull down, it shouldn't require that much force.
