i threw mine away, didn't fit well on my yellowtop

 

I was just wondering because the battery was new in this car when I first bought it and it didn't even last three years before it was bad. The car does sit a lot which I've read is not good for the battery so I don't know if that is what did it or not.

I did notice that when I got home after getting the new battery and was checking some things under the hood, that the outside of the battery was very hot from the underhood heat. I figured the insulator wouldn't hurt and decided to get one.
