Default Disabling Low Tire Pressure Alarm

I just bought an 03 Monte SS. The previous owner put a set of Konig rims on it (which look fantastic), but now the low tire pressure indicator is always on...annoying! Any way to disable this?

I did a quick Google on your issue seams the only way to turn it off is through a programmer try doing a Google yourself and see if that helps

this one site seams similar to your issue ====> http://www.jk-forum.com/modified-jk-...-light-126635/

Perhaps they failed to install Tire pressure sensors on the new rims. Here is an excerpt from one of our sponsors site.

Tire Rack.com

What happens if I don’t buy Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensors when I buy new wheels?

It depends on the vehicle. If a sensor is not installed or the system is not functioning properly, most vehicle’s TPMS warning lights will flash at start-up then stay illuminated until the TPMS problem is resolved and sensors are installed on the vehicle and registered to it.

So just go in and have TPMS's installed and no more problem. You can get your own off of ebay for cheap.

If your MC has the factory radio. set your ignition to acc turn the radio off. push the disp button located under the volume button. if I remember correctly you push the disp button until settings come up. then hit next button until low tire pressure comes up push disp button again you will hear a chirp. (If that is not right) I will go out to my car in the morning and do it..my low tire pressure light is on again!

2003 Monte don't have Tire pressure sensors in the rims ...
They use wheel speed to tell if tire is low..

You could just be experiencing an issue with one of the wheel hub assemblies saying that the car is the wrong pressure. Fix the hub, fix the issue.

Do you have any ABS lights or anything else going on?
