im a little confused, so the v6 camaro and the v6 malibu are the same engine???
i thought the v6 camaro was 300 hp and DOHC. i dought they would put that in a malibu.
unless im mistaken.
id like to though the camaros v6 into my monte if i dont trade it first. i got a closer look at my 3500 after all the work and am very dissapointed.
idk if i got a lemon engine, or what but am not impressed with its longevity.

The Malibu and the Camaro, and the Cadillac CTS all share the 3.6L. Of course the one in the Malibu is twisted sideways and drives the front wheels, but its the same basic engine.
The Malibu V6 has 260 HP
And the CTS/ Camaro get 304 HP (they added direct injection to the 3.6L for these cars, which is where the extra power comes from)

hay makk330 i am disapointed as well with my 3.5 as well it let me down again. and i have to use my truck going to work and back. i rather use my truck around town then on the high way.that is the reson why i got my monte because it is made to be a cruser than a gas guseler like a full size teuck.
